Lord God, I place this urgent situation in Your hands. Please protect us and the potential new life involved. If it is Your will, delay this process until we are ready. Help us act with grit and kindness, and guide us toward clarity, patience, grace and understanding. Give us strength, wisdom and more time to create the right environment to welcome this person.
